Password-Protected PDFs — Lock It Down
Enhance document security with password-protected PDFs generated directly through Apsona’s Document Merge. This provides a critical, zero-effort layer of defense, ensuring only authorized users can access your files.
How It Works
Each PDF is encrypted using a unique, auto-generated, date-based format: ApsonaMMDDYYYY.
Example: Created July 5, 2025 → Password = Apsona07052025
To activate, simply select the 'Encrypt PDF' checkbox in your merge action settings.
Works Across:
- Detail Page and List View merges
- Email Merge actions
Limitations:
- Fixed password format (not customizable)
- Applies only to PDF outputs (not .docx)
