A Message From
Sadna Dutt, CEO of Apsona

Our Story

Apsona was founded on a simple idea: make Salesforce easier to use.

M.A. Sridhar and I set out to solve real, everyday challenges – complex reporting, inefficient data processes, and the friction of working across disconnected tools. From the beginning, our focus was clear: build solutions that are simple, effective, and reliable.

Over time, those solutions became a series of focused products, each designed to solve a specific problem. But our customers showed us something important.

Their challenges weren’t isolated. Data management, reporting, document generation, and operational workflows are deeply connected and solving them individually only goes so far.

That insight is shaping the next chapter at Apsona.

Last year, we brought all of our products together in a unified solution – Apsona for Salesforce turns messy Salesforce data into clean, actionable insights and gives teams the tools to act on them in real time.

Instead of solving one problem at a time, Apsona is evolving to support how work actually happens in Salesforce: across data, processes, and teams.

This evolution is grounded in what has always mattered most to us…our customers. Leading companies, nonprofits and higher education institutions continue to shape how Apsona develops, pushing us to think bigger about what’s possible.

The loss of M.A. Sridhar in 2021 was a profound moment for our company. It strengthened our commitment to the vision we built together: creating solutions that not only solve problems, but empower people to do their best work.

As we look ahead, our focus remains the same: simplicity, continuous improvement, and delivering meaningful value to the Salesforce community we are proud to serve. Apsona’s journey has always been shaped by those we serve – and that will never change.

I’m excited for what we are building next, and grateful to have you as part of that journey.”

Who I Am

Vijitha Sridhar, Chief Technology Officer at Apsona. A Bay Area native with a lifelong passion for coding and technology.
My journey in tech began early and led me to UC Berkeley, where I studied Computer Science. After years as a software engineer, I found my place at Apsona, where I continue to grow and innovate every day.
Apsona is more than just a workplace for me; it’s a dynamic environment where I can engage in diverse projects. The opportunity to wear many hats in a small startup is exhilarating. What I cherish most is our team’s supportive and proactive nature, and interacting with customers who share their love and appreciation for our products.
As CTO, I’m deeply involved in the development and enhancement of Apsona’s products. I take pride in working on solutions that are not only innovative but also genuinely useful and appreciated by our users.
When I’m not coding or leading tech initiatives, I enjoy working out, tending to my garden, and dancing. These activities provide a perfect balance to my professional life.

In 2013, Akhil Sikri along with his elder brother founded AugBrain, an ed-tech startup focused on K5-K10 students and teachers. However, later on, they made a strategic decision to pivot their business and establish Zolo, an exceptional platform for managed coliving stays. At present, Akhil is leading India operations of a B2B SaaS company along with product & engineering as CTO at Apsona.

Everyone—from support to engineering to product—shows up with a sense of ownership and a willingness to solve real problems for our users. We strike a beautiful balance between agility and structure. We constantly evolve our ways of working—whether it’s how we prioritize features, support customers, or ship improvements—to stay efficient and user-focused. At the heart of it, Apsona builds tech that makes people’s lives easier. We’re solving tough problems inside the Salesforce ecosystem with elegant, lightweight tools that deliver real impact. Whether it’s document automation, reporting, or AI-powered enhancements, our solutions are practical, intuitive, and scalable.
This blend—the right people, smart processes, and meaningful technology—makes Apsona not just a great place to work, but a great place to grow.
Akhil Sikri has a strong experience in building & managing large teams to address big technical challenges.
